Winterfest
This Friday we are meeting the church at 8 am. So please be there then! Please also pray that the roads to be clear for safe traveling on the way and back to Winterfest! Not just for us but for all of the people traveling to Winterfest so that way they can also have a safe trip down there. Also remember to only pack ONE small suitcase per person and then have one backpack-carry on bag per person as well. See you then.

You often hear negative comments about teens, but you won’t here!
My husband and I and several others got to spend a weekend with most of our youth group in Gatlinburg, TN at the Winterfest. We heard some awesome speakers and sang beautiful worship songs to our Lord.
I have to say that our teens are the greatest group ever! We enjoyed spending time with them. I roomed with Brandy, Binyaile, Kelsey, Alyssa, Sarah and Haylee and truly enjoyed getting to know them better. They are not a bit ashamed of who they are in Christ and they enjoy Christian fellowship and boys, of course.
A few of the boys rode down with Butch and I. They were pretty quiet until we got into slow moving traffic. Then they started flirting with girls in other vehicles in Pigeon Forge. They were hilarious!
Butch had a rowdy bunch of boys in his room, but they were great! Even Rick behaved himself! Luke slept in the hot tub!
There are several more from our youth group that didn’t make the trip and they too are an awesome bunch. I wish they all could’ve been there.
I am so proud of our youth group and they represent our church in such a way that encourages all of us and our work for the Lord. I pray that we will continue to grow and bring others to Christ.
